MANN & WIFE DELIVERS OVER 5.7 MILLION VIEWERS AND 3.7 MILLION HOMES IN SEASON ONE
Mann & Wife, the most-watched original series in Bounce TV history, starring David and Tamela Mann, is to return to the network, in 2016. The half-hour series premiered on April 7th. With its first season being a smash hit, the show delivered more than 5.7 million viewers and 3.7 million homes on the air. Each of its ten premiere episodes, of the series, were in the top 10 among African American Adults, ages 18-49, when included among all ad-supported cable networks on Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm.
Real-life husband and wife team David Mann (Meet the Browns) and Tamela Mann (Madea's Big Happy Family, Sparkle), both star in and serve as executive producers of the hit series. The situation comedy depicts the life of a blended family as they laugh and love their way through their ups and downs, each with two children from previous marriages. Other supporting cast members include: Vivica A. Fox, portraying Daniel's ex-wife; Tony Rock, playing Daniel's new partner on the police force and JoMarie Payton as Lorraine, Daniel's overbearing mother. Series co-creator Roger Bobb (The Rickey Smiley Show, House of Payne) serves as executive producer and director.
