Inside The 2015 BET Soul Train Awards

The 2015 BET Soul Train Awards kicked off it's annual three day weekend event on Thursday, November 5th. In its 28th airing, this year's awards show was held at the Orleans Hotel and Casino and hosted by the talented Ms. Erykah Badu. The evening was highlighted by a special presentation to Lady of Soul Award honoree Jill Scott and Legend Award honoree Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, both of whom also performed. Other performances included R. Kelly, Jazmine Sullivan, Fantasia, Empire’s V. Bozeman, After 7, Tevin Campbell, Tyrese, Jeremih, Tasha Cobbs, Cameo and Erica Campbell.

"Man Ohhhhh Man what a blast! I landed a huge amount of interviews...The Awards Show was hype! Erykah Badu is so cool! I was able to interview Shanice, McLyte, Cameo, Tevin Campbell, Don Conelious Jr. and an a few more for Fuzionz Magazine and TV! I even threw a plug in on my show Random Kindness and Cameo said they would watch the show. Jill Scott, R. Kelly, Erika Badu, Tyrese, Babyface and Fantasia's performances were off the chain!" stated Fuzionz Magazine and TV Representative Author Angie Christine.

Other events included a Late Night Party at LIGHT Nightclub at Mandalay Bay, a Soul Train Weekend Charity Golf Classic at the Bali Hai Golf Resort to support raising money and awareness for the Don Cornelius Foundation. The weekend will wrap up with a concert featuring R. Kelly and special guest Babyface. If you missed this year's awards show, it is set to air on Centric TV and BET on November 29, 2015 at 8PM ET.
