Bounce TV Announces The Leading Cast Of Its First Original Dramatic Series 'Saints & Sinners

Bounce TV has announced the leading cast of its first original dramatic series, Saints & Sinners. The show, which is currently in production in or near the Atlanta, GA area, will depict the quest for power, accompanied by a twist of deceit, greed, corruption and murder, all geared towards the backdrop of a large southern church, Greater Hope Baptist Church, which is the heartbeat of Cypress, GA. The church began as a 10-member congregation when the Civil Rights Movement was at its height and being young, black and alone at night was an unavoidable danger of circumstance. The congregation and its influence in Cypress grew as times changed, but after a violent murder shakes the community, the entire town may be in danger of collapsing, because of the secrets it holds. For it seems at Greater Hope, only God and the Devil can tell the difference between a saint and a sinner.

The cast of Saints & Sinners will include Vanessa Bell Calloway whose character is Lady Ella, a beauty queen with a business mind and the power behind the throne as Pastor Evan Johnson's wife; Clifton Powell, who plays Rex Fisher, a ruthless local loan shark; Gloria Reuben is Pamela Clayborne, the Mayor of Cypress, a former hard-nosed prosecutor whose secrets are catching up with her; Keith Robinson portrays Miles Calloway, a former R&B star, one hit wonder, now serving as the minister of music at Greater Hope; Christian Keyes, who plays as Levi, the prodigal son who returns to his hometown after a successful run on Wall Street; Richard Lawson, plays the beloved Pastor Evan Johnson, who is harboring many dark doings from his faithful believers; Jasmine Burke as Dr. Christie Johnson, the daughter and only living child of Pastor and Mrs. Johnson, who tends to local patients but has her own private issues; JD Williams (The Wire, The Good Wife) portrays Jabari, Levi's cousin who also works for Rex and is torn between family and business and Afemo Omilami as Detective St. Charles.

Stay tuned to Bounce TV, as the eight-episode first season will be televised on Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. (ET) starting March 6th. (Photo Credit: Courtesy of Front Page Firm/Bounce TV)
