EXCLUSIVE LOVE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: THE MIKI HOWARD STORY SCREENING IN NEW YORK CITY
The stars were out in New York City, as TV One hosted the premiere of its first Unsung-inspired biopic Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story at the AMC Empire Theatre in New York City. Guests in attendance included Teyonah Parris (Chi-raq, Dear White People, Mad Men), Miki Howard (Grammy-nominated R&B singer), Darius McCrary (The Leftovers, Family Matters), Indira Khan (Daughter of Chaka Khan), Sylvia Rhone (Epic Records President),Meli'sa Morgan (R&B singer/songwriter), Monifah (R&B singer/songwriter), Bershan Shaw (Love in the City), Carlysia Levert (Daughter of the late Gerald Levert), Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, The Walking Dead), Tobias Truvillion (One Life to Live, Empire), and Suzette Charles (1984 Miss America).
TV One President, Brad Siegel, greeted attendees and thanked the audience for their support. Guests then pre-screened the premiere of Love Under New Management: The Miki Howard Story.
