TV ONE JOINS LEXUS FOR A SPECIAL PRESENTATION OF LEXUS VERSES AND FLOW
On Wednesday, October 26 at 11pm ET, Lexus and TV One will come together for an evening of musical blends, performed by chart-topping artists, along with spoken word from top slam poetry artists. This one-night lyrical event will be accompanied by a special presentation of the NAACP-nominated variety show Lexus Verses and Flow.
The special event will be hosted by, Daytime Emmy winner, Dondré T. Whitfield. Dondré is known for his recurring roles on The Cosby Show, daytime drama “Another World,” his role as Terence Frye on the hit daytime drama “All My Children,” and drama series “Queen Sugar,” produced by Ava DuVernay and Oprah Winfrey.
Lexus Verses and Flow has presented melodious nights of music and spoken word for five seasons. Grammy Award-Winning singers Joe, and Lloyd will be a part of this year’s event, along with up-and-coming soul-singers, including Lion Babe, Ro James, Dreezy and Kevin Ross, who share the stage with thirteen of the biggest names in poetry. This dynamic 90-minute event will bring a, thought-provoking to sensual to comedic, deliverance of pure entertainment.
