Sophia Bush and Common to Announce the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® Nominations


American actress/activist Sophia Bush, alongside Grammy®-winning actor and musician, Common, will announce the nominees for the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® on Wednesday, December 14, in West Hollywood, California, at the Pacific Design Center. Bush and Common will be introduced by Gabrielle Carteris, SAG-AFTRA President. Bush currently portrays the role of Detective Erin Lindsay on Chicago P.D. She also starred on The CW’s hit drama “One Tree Hill” as Brooke Davis, as well as appearing in the CBS comedy, “Partners.” Common recently released his 11th studio album, “Black America Again,” featuring the hit single of the same name and the anthem “Letter to the Free.” The multi-talented actor/musician also starred in Selma and will appear in the upcoming sequel of John Wick: Chapter 2.


The nominations announcements will be telecast live on TNT TBS, truTV, sagawards.tntdrama.com and truTV.com at 10 a.m. (ET) / 7 a.m. (PT). The stunt ensemble honors nominees will be announced during a live webcast on sagawards.tntdrama.com at 9:50 a.m. (ET) / 6:50 a.m. (PT), prior to the nominations announcements. The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® presented by SAG-AFTRA with Screen Actors Guild Awards, LLC will be produced by Avalon Harbor Entertainment. Inc. and will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT).
