The SAG Awards® Red Carpet Bleacher Seat Auction

The SAG Awards® Red Carpet Bleacher Seat Auction begins today at 9 p.m. (ET) / 6 p.m. (PT) at sagawards.org/auction. The auction benefits the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. Film and television fans will have the opportunity to bid on over 100 bleacher seats, from which they will have access to watch their favorite stars walk the SAG Awards Red Carpet, as well as having the opportunity to take pictures and request autographs during the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® arrivals. Special VIP positioning will include front row seats across from the platforms for E’s Live from the Red Carpet, and SAG-AFTRA's official interviews, as well as across from the international fashion photographers and cameras. The auction will close on Sunday, January 8 at 9 p.m. (ET) / 6 p.m. (PT). Proceeds will support the Foundation’s signature children's literacy programs: BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) and Storyline Online (storylineonline.net) where professional actors read to close more than 8 million children in classrooms and online every month, as well as supporting the Foundation's Catastrophic Health Fund and Emergency Assistance Program for SAG-AFTRA members and their families.

The final SAG Awards Ceremony Auction is scheduled to begin Friday, January 27th, and run through February 6th. Autographed scripts, posters, wardrobe and props are among some of the featured items donated by this year’s nominees and presenters. There will also be opportunities to visit sets. Experiential packages from sponsors, studios and entertainment media outlets will be offered, as well.
