Join the 25th Annual Trumpet Awards, on Sunday, January 29th at 9:00 pm ET, on Bounce TV, in an inspirational night of honoring African-American achievements and contributions. Black-ish and two-time EMMY® nominated actor Deon Cole and seven-time NAACP Image Award nominated actress Nicole Ari Parker will host the black-tie ceremony.

Bounce TV recently acquired all assets of The Trumpet Awards and now owns, produces and exclusively premieres the star-studded ceremony.

Lifetime Achievement Trumpet Award-winning New Edition will be honored by R&B bands Jagged Edge, Silk and The Transitions with a musical composition of the iconic group’s hits including “Candy Girl,” Mr. Telephone Man” and “Cool It Now.”

Trumpet Legend Award recipient, Peabo Bryson, will be honored by performances from Regina Belle, BJ The Chicago Kid and Kenny Lattimore as they sing “A Whole New World,” “Feel the Fire” and “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again.” A

Gospel Music Tribute will feature Shirley Caesar, Erica Campbell, Jekalyn Carr, Le’Andria Johnson, Travis Greene and Canton Jones, along with individual performances from Tamela Mann, Lalah Hathaway and Keke Wyatt. Iman Cezanne and Javon Johnson will render a spoken-word presentation. Honorees at this year’s ceremony will also include daytime EM

MY® nominee Wendy Williams, who will be presented with the Trumpet Award for Entertainment; former NBA great Dikembe Mutombo, will be presented with the Humanitarian Trumpet Award; Martin Luther King III, will be presented with the Impact Trumpet Award and fashion blogger Gabi Gregg to be presented with the Trailblazer Trumpet Award. Presenters and special guests will include Vanessa Bell Calloway, Lou Gossett, Jr., David Mann, Bill Withers, Ed Lover, Ed Gordon, Gary Owen, Erica Ash and Willie Moore, Jr.

In a very special tribute, civil rights icon and founder of the Trumpet Awards Xernona Clayton will be presented with the distinguished Golden Trumpet Award.
