TUNE IN TO NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE OF TV ONE'S TRUE CRIME SERIES "ATL HOMICIDE" ON MON

Veteran homicide detectives David Quinn and Vince Velazquez of Atlanta PD have stories—and they’re sharing some of the grittiest of them all on TV One’s new addition to “True Crime Mondays,” ATL HOMICIDE on Monday, July 23rd at 10/9C. The compelling true crime series will drop viewers smack dab in the middle of real-life murder investigations with with uncanny re-creations of the grisly crimes and narration from the detectives themselves.

On this week's episode of ATL HOMICIDE, four days after her husband reported her missing, Shaquilla Weatherspoon is found dead in the woods with her belongings scattered around her. To the trained eye, it looks like the killer staged the crime scene to look like a robbery. A talk with Shaquilla's husband reveals that they had an open marriage, and were both involved with multiple ongoing affairs. Knowing that someone wanted Shaquilla dead, but wanted it to look random, detectives Quinn and Velazquez investigate those closest to her to find the killer.

ATL HOMICIDE is flipping the true crime genre on its head. Each one-hour episode will focus on one dramatic murder case. The audience will have a front seat to the action - as if it's happening in the moment - following two of Atlanta's most decorated Homicide detectives as if they were on the case in their prime.ATL HOMICIDE is produced for TV One by Wide Net Productions and Jupiter Entertainment.
