LIFETIME ROUNDS OUT CAST FOR TERRY MCMILLAN PRESENTS: TEMPTED BY LOVE

Lifetime unveils the captivating cast for the upcoming "Terry McMillan Presents" film, now titled "Tempted By Love." Leading the charge is Garcelle Beauvais (Black Girl Missing, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Coming to America), who stars and executive produces, continuing her extended partnership with the network. Joining her are Vaughn W. Hebron (The Game: Reboot, King Richard, Tyler Perry’s The Oval), who also co-produces, and Donna Biscoe (The Supremes at Big Earl's Cafe, Reasonable Doubt, Saints and Sinners). Reuniting from the beloved "Waiting to Exhale" are Lela Rochon (Any Given Sunday, The Family Business: New Orleans) and Emmy-Award winner Loretta Devine (P-Valley, Family Reunion). Mark your calendars: the film debuts Saturday, August 17th at 8/7c.

In "Tempted by Love," Ava (Beauvais), a celebrated chef in Europe, rushes to South Carolina to care for her ailing aunt (Biscoe). There, she meets Luke (Hebron), a charming driver two decades her junior. Despite their age difference, they share a deep connection fueled by their love for food, family, and fun. As sparks fly, Ava must navigate her feelings and decide what’s best for her future.

Terry McMillan, famed for "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" and "Waiting to Exhale," brings her signature touch to this film, focusing on the love and lives of African American women.

"Tempted by Love" is executive produced by D’Angela Proctor for Undaunted Content, with Terry McMillan and Garcelle Beauvais also at the helm. Richard Foster and Chet Fenster are executive producers for GroupM Motion Entertainment. Directed by Taliah Breon and written by Tamara T. Gregory.
