The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo (BPIR) captivated SOLD OUT crowds with a Juneteenth Celebration Day at The Greatest Show on Dirt! Whether in person or live-streamed on PBR RidePass via the Pluto TV Network, EVERYONE WAS THRILLED!
The Juneteenth festivities featured a weekend brimming with media interviews and meet-and-greets with BPIR's beloved Celebrity Ambassadors. Emmy Award-winning actor Glynn Turman, renowned for his roles in "A Raisin in the Sun" (1959) opposite Sidney Poitier and Ruby Dee, "Cooley High," "A Different World," and more recently Ava DuVernay’s "Queen Sugar," ABC’s "Women of the Movement," and FX’s "Fargo" with Chris Rock, graced the event with his presence. Joining him was actor and producer Reginald T. Dorsey, celebrated for his work in "A Boys Town Story," "21 Jump Street," the critically acclaimed "South Central," "The Cherokee Kid," and the award-winning "Kings Of The Evening." Both stars not only participated in the Opening Ceremonies but also delighted fans by posing for photos.
Adding to the excitement, BPIR unveiled The Soul Country Music Star Competition, promising even more entertainment for the attendees.
