The 7th Annual UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball To Be Held In Los Angeles, CA

The 7th Annual UNCF Mayor's Masked Ball will be hosted, for the second year, by Actress Dawnn Lewis on February 24th at 6pm. The event will take place at the JW Marriott at LA Live which will include a reception, red carpet, dinner & program. Those attending the ball will include Lena L. Kennedy (businesswoman, civic leader, and philanthropist), Honoree Dr. La-Doris McClaney, (entrepreneur, activist, and philanthropist), Herb Wesson (President of the Los Angeles City Council), Estelle (Singer-songwriter​), Selita Ebanks (Model), MAJOR (Singer-songwriter), Laura Govan (Basketball Wives), Dawnn Lewis (Actress & singer), and more.

UNCF LA will honor two extraordinary women leaders whose lives of service and leadership inspire us all, Lena L. Kennedy and Dr. La-Doris McClaney. Both will be recognized with the UNCF Masked Award in Los Angeles for their dedication and support of UNCF’s work, whose mission is to build a robust and nationally-recognized pipeline of under-represented students who, because of UNCF support, become highly-qualified college graduates.

The celebration of education, excellence, and service is quickly becoming one of Los Angeles’ signature fundraising galas and premier social events of the year. The evening will also feature a live auction, elegant dining, dancing, live entertainment performed by soul singer MAJOR and special guest President of the Los Angeles City Council Herb Wesson.
